Are Term Limits Productive Or Counterproductive?

To add a contrasting view to the discussion about term limits, the best form of government is a constitutional monarchy. Without having such a tradition, will that even be possible in the U.S.?

Probably not, but perhaps.

Nevertheless, it is obvious that (the continuity that exists in a constitutional monarchy and which stands as one of its saliant features) term limits are counterproductive.
